While watching a bird banding demonstration with elementary school students at Warner Nature Center last Friday, this raccoon interrupted the demonstration and got a little too close for comfort with the Warner staff. It ended up climbing this tree for a while. Like all the kids, I was totally distracted by the raccoon.

I'm back! It's been a while since I've posted. In that time, my computer crashed and I lost ALL my data. Luckily most of my photos were backed up - unfortunately most of them that I took in the past few months (including my Florida trip) were not - they are gone for good. This photo was taken on Mother's Day 2009 while on a drive with my mom and uncle around Washington County. Such amazing hills and fields in the area.

I'm finally posting a photo from my Spring Break to Florida a few weeks ago! I actually ended up with better photos on my iPhone than with my Canon. Oh well! This seagull was trying to eat our food I'm sure, but it ended up as a cool photo. This was at Ft. Desota Park near St. Petersburg, FL.
