Baseball As America – Baseball As America is a national celebration of American's romance with baseball and the first major exhibition to examine the relationship between the game and American Culture. Over 500 treasured artifacts from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Museum in Cooperstown – dating from baseball's early roots in the 19th century to present day – offer a fascinating look at American culture and its devotion to the sport. Through the exploration of a broad range of themes, including immigration, nationalism, integration, technology and popular culture, Baseball As America reveals how the game has both reflected and sometimes shaped American society. A family-friendly exhibit, this show shouldn't be missed by anyone who loves baseball. Tickets are for Opening Weekend (November 24, 25, and 26) which will be three days of family-friendly activities, guest appearances by baseball personas past (e.g., people portraying Branch Rickey and Jackie Robinson) and present (current Twins, local baseball personalities, etc.) music, trivia contest, etc.
- The Opening Party and Sneak Preview (November 20) will feature National Baseball Hall of Fame members and the opportunity to be the first to see the exhibit. Food and beverages are provided at the Gala.
